This picture was taken on 8/29/05 in Fair Harbor (Fire Island) using my Canon SD 400. It is a picture of a Praying Mantis. We came across it on a walk and it was in the middle of the side walk. I laid down on the ground and took a series of macro photos. My partner used a leaf to position it. I was so excited to take the photos and was nervous that the photos would not come out clearly.
